Carrie Cwiak, MD MPH

Carrie Cwiak is the founding Translation Core director and a principal investigator for the Gestational Age Policies study.

Cwiak is an associate professor in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Emory University School of Medicine. She currently serves as the division director for family planning and director of the Family Planning Fellowship Program. She has a secondary appointment as associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health.

Cwiak received her M.D. from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Connecticut Health Center and a fellowship in family planning at Emory University School of Medicine. She also holds an MPH from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
