Celeste Ellison,

Graduate Research Assistant

Prior to working at RISE, Celeste worked as a Research Assistant in the Global HIV/ TB Prevention Division at CDC, where she worked on a faith-based reproductive health program that addresses the needs of adolescents living with HIV. Before moving to Atlanta, Celeste was a volunteer Birth Doula at UNC Women’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.


Celeste is currently pursuing her MPH at Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health in the Global Health department, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health, as well as a certificate in Maternal and Child Health. She received her BA in Global Health in 2019 from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
